Wrapped around one side of Kyaninga Lodge is a sun terrace with a swimming pool, shaded lounge chairs and views over the crater lake. The lodge also boasts a grass tennis court, with badminton, croquet and boules equipment all available for a relaxing afternoon.

Flights To Kyaninga LodgeSafari flights to Kyaninga Lodge are possible by both plane and helicopter. When flying in by plane the closest landing site to Kyaninga Lodge is Fort Portal airstrip, a 15 minutes drive from the lodge. Some guests opt to land at Kasese airstrip a 2 hours drive away, to allow them to explore from south to north through the crater lake fields en route. If you’re flying in a helicopter the lodge is equipped with a private helipad in the lodge grounds.

Kyaninga Lodge RoomsThe wooden cottages are connected by a walkway following the ridge, each positioned to enjoy the lodge’s stunning surroundings. The cottages are each placed on a private terrace to provide seclusion, set under large thatched roofs gives the interiors a spacious feel. They are all equipped with large comfortable beds, ceiling hung mosquito nets, ensuite bathrooms with marble countertops and Elgon olive wood pedestals.
